| Family Wellness and Recovery Services of NC, Inc. is a nonprofit agency located in Pittsboro, NC that offers residential treatment to pregnant women who have substance abuse disorders. FWRS operates the Hope Meadow program, which provides a safe haven for pregnant women and their children. Here, mothers receive the medical and psychiatric care they need in order to become substance free and complete a sustainable, healthy return to independent and responsible community life. Graduates of the Hope Meadow program may then choose to participate in the Continued Hope Aftercare program, which holds bi-weekly meetings focused on strengthening relapse prevention skills and achieving the goal of building a healthy, nurturing environment for their families and provides individual community support to participants. | $10 for Ten Campaign Family Wellness and Recovery Services of NC was established in 1996 and, since then, has helped deliver over 77 healthy babies.
